Populate Sheet Properties

Description

This tool can be used when the active view is a view sheet containing an assembly made from a structural framing element. When used, this tool maps information from the structural framing element into the view sheet so that the view sheet’s title block can be populated. The population of the title block is done by the user’s title block family, not this tool. What this tool does is fill in the view sheet properties so this population is possible. For more information on what information is mapped over and where it goes, see Sheet Properties Settings.

When clicked the tool shows the Populate Sheet Properties window which allows the user to select an associated map file or use the default map file.

Open

Clicking Use Default will replace the Associated Map name with “Default Map” to indicate the default map will be used.

Populate Sheet Properties map file are created and edited in the Sheet Properties Settings.
