Create Filters

This tool modifies the display template to toggle the visibility of the selected elements. Specifically, these tools look in the V/G Overrides Model for a filter that has the elements family name. If the filter is not found, one is created. The tool then adds a rule to the filter for each family selected, “if family name is equal to the family name selected”. The category of the selected families is also added to the filter. The filter visibility is then toggled.

The filter name is set in the Filters Settings by providing a filter name prefix. The full filter name then becomes the given filter name prefix plus an underscore and then the family name.
