Deflections

Each analysis point’s deflections, from the 2nd order analysis, is compared against the user defined deflection limit. The deflection limit is a multiplier of the current span length. For example, if the user input L/180 as the deflection limit, and the current span was 20 feet, the deflection limit would be 1.33 inches. Note, this does very span to span. If the deflection limit is exceeded, the analysis will report an error.
