Longitudinal Rebar
Rebar is entered in groups of identical bars in either the precast beam itself or in the deck.
The start and end location of bars specified in the beam are located from the left end of the girder. The height of these bars is specified with respect to the bottom of the beam. Note that the deck rebar beginning may be input as a negative value and the end location may be assigned a value greater than the beam length to allow the rebar to be fully developed over the girder.
Deck steel is located with respect to the centerline of the left pier of the span under consideration. The height of deck steel is measured with respect to the bottom surface of the deck. Note that the highest a bar can be is the thickness of the slab.
Values in the table can be switched between girder and deck steel.
