Corbel Design

Corbel design in Eriksson Connect follows the cantilever beam method found in the Eighth Edition of the PCI Design Handbook, Section 5.7.1.  There are two types of reinforcement required for this design method, the primary tension reinforcement and the shear reinforcement.

Dap Design

Dap design in Eriksson Connect follows the Eighth Edition of the PCI Design Handbook, Section 5.5.3.

Ledge Design

Ledge design in Eriksson Connect follows the Eighth Edition of the PCI Design Handbook, Section 5.6.

Anchor Group Design

Anchor group design in Eriksson Connect follows both Chapter 17 in ACI 318-14 and Chapter 6 of the Eighth Edition of the PCI Design Handbook, Section 6.5.3.

Note: to find the relevant section in ACI 318-14 based on the equivalent section in older codes that contain Appendix D, simply replace the D in the reference with 17, and reduce the first digit by 1.  Therefore, Section D6.2.3 becomes 17.5.2.3.
