Edit Family Map allows editing of an existing family map by selecting the part in the Revit model and clicking the button.
A family map relates values of a Revit family to corresponding values needed to use all tools and functions in Sync. To use Edit Family Map a part must be selected in the model and the part must already have an existing family map before clicking the Edit Family Map button. Otherwise an error message will be shown stating to pick a part with a family map to edit.
Edit Family Map shows the family map properties page that is also accessible from the Supported Families Settings but allows quick access by selecting an object of that family in the model rather than searching through the list of all family maps.
