Edit Family Map

Edit Family Map allows editing of an existing family map by selecting the part in the Revit model and clicking the button.

A family map relates values of a Revit family to corresponding values needed to use all tools and functions in Sync. To use Edit Family Map a part must be selected in the model first then the Edit Family Map button clicked. If no family map entry already exists for the selected family then the Family Map Wizard will appear to allow for quick creation of the family map entry.

Edit Family Map shows the family map properties page that is also accessible from the Supported Families Settings but allows quick access by selecting an object of that family in the model rather than searching through the list of all family maps.
