Floating Network Commercial Suite Setup

The commercial suite includes Eriksson Beam, Column, Connect, and Wall. Each program requires its own installation and activation with a separate folder to store each license.

The software SHOULD NOT be installed or activated within the server itself. Installation and initial activation should be performed on a users machine to avoid issues with file paths.

 

Instructions

Once you have downloaded the installers for each product we’ll begin by making the folders which will hold our license file. Users will require Read/Write/Modify permissions to the folder group created in order to check out and return licenses as the software is opened/closed.

  1. Create a folder on the network shared location all users have access to.

     

  2. Within the new folder, we need a separate location to store each software's license file. Create a separate folder for Beam, Column, Connect, and Wall. The license files are generated at first activation of each software.

     

  3. We can now install each software one by one following the instructions.
