Manage Licenses

The Manage Licenses window, accessible from the About window, allows the user to activate and deactivate their Eriksson BIM Tools licenses.

There are five different licenses that enable tools in the Eriksson BIM Tools kit.

  • Eriksson Sync for Revit Export Only gives access to Export Design, Manage Parts and Edit Family Map. These are the tools needed to export Eriksson design files from Revit. The Eriksson design programs are not needed for exporting. The files can then be given to a user who does have the design programs for design and analysis.

  • Eriksson Sync for Revit contains the tools in Eriksson Sync for Revit Export Only as well as Import Reinforcement and Import Lifters. This allows a user to import Eriksson design files to add reinforcement and lifters to the model.

  • Eriksson Modeling Tools contains all of the Modeling Tools.

  • Eriksson Brick Tool contains the export and import operations for Brick Tool.

  • Eriksson BIM Tools for Revit contains all BIM Tools including Sync, Modeling Tools and Brick Tool.

If there is no valid license for a tool kit then the status will be red and state “License Invalid.” If there is a valid license for a tool kit then the status will be green and read “License Valid.” If a valid license allows access to other kits in BIM Tools then their status will read “Enabled.”

At anytime a license can be activated, deactivated or monitored by clicking the Manage License button next to the specific tool kit.
