This tab covers the concrete extents and architectural features of the column.  Note that some of the entries on this tab can be input in either decimal inches or feet-inches.  If input is in decimal inches, it will automatically be converted to feet-inches.  You can also input feet and inches using the single and double quote characters.

Dimensions 

Height: Out-to-out vertical height of the member.

Typical Section

The typical section is the average column cross-section, neglecting holes and voids.

Width: Indicates which face (interior or exterior) will be top in form when the member is cast.  Note that legs will always be placed bottom in form, while lift loops will always be placed top in form.

Depth: Indicates which face (interior or exterior) will be top in form when the member is cast.  Note that legs will always be placed bottom in form, while lift loops will always be placed top in form.

Corner Type

Fillet: Applies a rounded corner to the section.

Radius: Radius of the rounded corner

Chamfer: Applies a flat corner to the section.

 Depth: Depth of the flat corner.

Voids

Add: Add a new row into the voids table.

Remove: Remove one or more rows in the voids table.

 Copy: Copy a row in the voids table.

 Voids Table:

Position Along Length

       Position: Distance from start (bottom) of column.

Length: Overall length of the void as measured parallel to the height of the column.

 Position in Cross Section

Horizontal Position: Horizontal location position of the void measured from the left edge of the column to the left edge of the void.

 Width: Width of the void.

Vertical Position: Vertical location of the void measured from bottom face of the column to the bottom face of the void. (Bottom in form/Top in form)

 Height: Height of the void.
