Reinforce component is used to associate design files with components in the model and to insert reinforcement from the design file into the component. Any number of components can be selected.

Associated Design File
When components are selected in Tekla Structures the associated design file name will be shown if it exists. If not, the text “No Design Selected” will be shown. If multiple components are selected with different design files then the text “Multiple Designs Selected” will be shown.
Whether design files are associated with the components or not an existing file can be selected by clicking the button to the right of the file path. This opens the open file dialog box. The type of Eriksson Project File that can be used will be determined by the component types selected in the model. Navigate to the folder that contains the design file and click Open.
The design file will not be associated with the components until the Run button is clicked.
Settings
Before inserting the reinforcement into the model the settings can be changed on what existing reinforcement should be removed before placing the new reinforcement, what reinforcement to insert, and how the reinforcement should be placed.
Removal Settings
The types of reinforcement to be removed from the component can be selected.
