Description
This tool allows certain views to be duplicated and renamed to be placed on a different sheet or the same sheet. It will only copy legends and drafting views and can only duplicate one at a time and place it on one sheet. To use it, click the Duplicate Ticket View button. Then, navigate to the sheet that contains the view to be duplicated. Click on the view, then click the Finish button. This will bring up the Duplicate Ticket View dialog window shown below:
The window contains a list of every sheet in the project. Select the sheet in the list that is to receive the copied view. There is a search box that will filter the sheet names to make it easier to find the specific sheet. Then, either double-click the desired sheet or highlight it and click OK to select the sheet. An input box will then appear for typing the new name of the duplicated view as show below:
The input window has the original name of the new view for easier editing, but the name must be changed and must be unique or else it will ask again for a unique name.
Once the new view name is accepted the duplicated view will be placed on the selected sheet. If a different sheet is selected than the original sheet the view will be placed in the same position it was on the original sheet. If the same sheet is selected to receive the duplicated view then it will be placed next to the original view.
