• Relative Position will use the same relative position (such as 0.2 L) as defined in the design file.

• Nearest End will use the end nearest to the location.

• From Center will use the distance from the center of the member.

• From End will use the distance from the far side of the member.

• From Start will use the distance from the near side of the member.

Component

To place lifters into the model, components must be set defined for the two types of lifters for each part. Clicking the button to the right of a lifter type will bring up a Tekla Structures “Select component” window where all components can be viewed and the lifter component selected. Once selected, the name of the component will be shown in the Component text box.
