Strand

The analysis will automatically discount any strand that is present at an opening.  You can change the location of individual strands by selecting a row, which opens up another grid row that lists the horizontal offsets of each strand from the previous (the first entry in this row is the distance to the left edge of the column).

Add Strand: Add a row to the strand table.

...

Edge Distances: Distance from the corresponding edge (Left, Right, Back, or Front) and the c.g. of the closest strand row or column.

Rebar

For mild reinforcement, the user must account for holes themselves.

Add Bar: Add a row to the bar table.

...

End Conditions: Here you can select between five different end conditions:  straight, 90 degree hook, 180 degree hook, headed, headed, and anchored (always assumed to be 100% developed).  These end conditions are used in calculating the development length.  The start of the column is assumed to be the bottom of the column in the final condition.

Transverse

Transverse reinforcement (ties) may be added in this section.  Typically these consist of individual rectangular ties spaced evenly along the length of the member (sometimes with multiple ties spaced closer together at the ends of the member or below corbels).  Continuous spirals are also supported.

Add Transverse: Add a row to the transverse table.
