Uncheck “Modify associated design files(s)” to associate the selected parts and open them in the design software without modifying the design files. One reason to do this would be to use the design file as a seed file for checking designs of various parts with the same design criteria.

Check this box to have the concrete extents of the selected parts included in the design files. If unchecked the concrete extents in the design file will not be changed.

Solid Zone Inclusion

For sandwich panels, select to include all solid zones, only end blocks, or no solid zones.

Include Reinforcement

Select which types of reinforcement to read from the parts in the model and add to the design filesFor more information on settings, go to the Design Part Settings page.

Run

Run must be clicked to make the association between the selected parts and design files. A progress bar will appear at the bottom of the Design Part window with information about the status of the design process with a success or failure message when the operation is complete.
